I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does the stress of being a mum, unsupportive relationships or lack of sleep cause you to overeat? Does broken sleep, juggling multiple hats or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
Whilst I believe that to see a result you do need to set a goal and have a structured plan I also believe that change needs to be intuitive and you need to listen to your body for its signals regarding exercise and eating.
Food should nourish the body and food can be used to heal, as Hippocrates said “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” and I believe that having “healthy intentions will assist in disease prevention”.
Exercising should be fun and rewarding, leaving you feeling revitalised and full of energy! If you don’t like an activity then don’t do it, life is too short to push yourself through punishing workouts!
